GENTLEMAN WEEK 1 IS HERE HOLY SHIT LETS GO. Good luck this season yall and may the best man win. NOT MUCH TO SAY SO LETS GET INTO IT. WEEK 1 RANKINGS and YES THEY ARE THE SAME FOR ANT AND I.
1. Erik – Draft/Rank A+
CMC autodraft no more. Hell of a draft and hell of a roster here brotha. We are proud of you here at the BBC(Blogger Boyz Central). You are coming off one of your worst seasons here in LOD and missing the playoffs. You have potential here to be great. Your weaknesses are well you have 1 WR on your bench and alot of boom or bust potential. However, fantasy is all about boom or bust.
Your BREAKOUT PLAYER is DAMEON Pierce, even with singletary going there as a backup. Pierce showed everything you would want in a three down back. The reports coming in of him slimming down to be a better reciever as well is also a plus. Potential to be Top 5 finish this year for RB.
Your BIGGEST BUST PLAYER is DEEBO Samuel, he already saw lest ball share last year when CMC came over and has a history of injuries. In an offense that is crowded and with him not being the #1 option in this offense anymore. He more than likely will not live up to his 4th round pick by you.
Your Sleeper player is David Montgomery, he is going into the Jamal Williams roll on this offense and is a more talented back by far than Jamal. Jamal led the league in TDS last year. Late 8th round for him he should defintely outscore his ADP by far.
ANT –
Erik: With the all around best team I believe this is the best draft that Erik has had since he auto drafted CMC. If his team just performs to their expectations Erik can go far, if half of his team can beat their ADP it might be over for the league.
Ceedee Lamb: Ceedee has the potential in this offense to be a top 3 WR and this might finally be the year he puts it all together. His breakout might not be based on his performance but more on if Dak can stay healthy and find Ceedee. All the opportunity is there, can he do anything with it?
Derrick Henry: Theres no way that Henry can just continue to run over everything in sight, right? I think there’s serious doubt that Henry can carry this team for another year AND stay healthy. And if he cant it will look like the biggest bust of this team because of the draft capital that was used for him.
David Montgomery: Its not going to look sexy and its not going to get you hyped but its gonna get the damn job done. Montgomery has the potential to take all the work inside the 10 yard line and turn in his first 10 TD season. And since hes just a bench RB for now hes some of the strongest depth anyone has in the league.
2. Chuck – Draft/Rank A
CHINOCHUCK with a great draft after trading away Derrick Henry and finally Saquon. Getting Tyreek from wings and being able to get Bijan started off nice. You made the playoffs last year fighting for your life and was able to make your return to the championship. First time in a long time. Shows you are not washed just yet. The biggest weakness on this team is your bench RB’s. There is boom or bust potential, but by far the biggest weakspot. Luckily Rhamondre or Bijan dont have a bye until week 13 and 14.
Your BREAKOUT PLAYER IS BIJAN ROBINSON, that should not be a suprise to anyone as he has potential to finish as the #1 fantasy back as a rookie. Most hyped prospect since Saquon and CMC.
Your BIGGEST BUST PLAYER Devonta Smith, he finished as a top 10 reciever last year as a second year receiver. However, in a crowded offense and being drafted so high based off of ADP. He can fall too wr 2/3 territory.
Your SLEEPER PLAYER IS DIONTAE JOHNSON, for a guy that finished as WR 8 two years ago to finishing as 30 with 147 targets is pretty wild, but the Steelers were a mess. With Pickett expected to take the next step Diontae should benefit greatly as he will get over 130 guarenteed targets and will score this year.
ANT –
Chuck: When the season ended chuck was left with a huge hole in his… heart, thanks to Gio. It was looking rough as far as draft capital until the fire sale started and our tankers fell for the bait. Now Chuck has positioned himself for another playoff run and hopefully a non-tainted title.
Bijan Robinson: The fact that this pick fell to you was the perfect reason why no one will take my Tank commander title. Bijan is coming out of Texas with a backfield all to himself in a Arthur Smith system and is poised for a Saquon type rookie season. If he hits, Chuck may have his RB he’ll be sucking off for the next year before he is inevitably shipped off.
Rhamondre Stevenson: I loved me some Rhamondre, and then they signed bowling ball of a RB Zeke. Do I think Zeke is going to be great? No. Do I think he can vulture enough TD’s and work from Rhamondre that can make his 3rd round selection look a little iffy by the end of the year? Absolutely.
Zay Flowers: The rookie WR was drafted as the 3rd option in this offense but he has all the potential in the world to become the number 2 if not the number 1. Im not high on OBJ and Andrews is gonna slow down at some point. I think Zay is a great option to slide into that WR2 or Wr3 slot come week 4 and leave him there for the year.
3. Ant – Draft/Rank A
ANT, man was in shambles leading up to draft day did not know if he was auto drafting because he had a playoff game for his Mens Beer League Baseball(they won the ship). You are coming off a tough year of missing the yoffs after losing in the play in. You had a good draft with a stack of 4th round picks helps. However, your bench WR are ass.
Your BREAKOUT PLAYER IS JK DOBBINS. He has so much potential and has flashed it. In an offense now that is going more towards the passing game and need the play action to work as well as QB draws and RPO’s. Dobbins can have a huge year and reach his potential and finish as a top 7 back.
Your BIGGEST BUST PLAYER IS AJ BROWN. AJ brown was a keeper for you and rightfully so explosive in a number 1 offense. However, he said Target per route percentage drop alot while Dallas Goedert plays and now that he is healthy, if he stays on the field in a crowder offense he might fall to WR 2 territory which would not of payed off for a keeper player.
YOUR BIGGEST SLEEPER IS MILES SANDERS. Miles Sanders is finally a work horse somewhere after having a career year in Philly and now entering a true 3 down back role with a rookie QB needing a safety blanket. He has a Chance to finish as a RB1 in elite territory.
ANT –
Ant: A year removed from a disappointing title defense and I have CMC less team and taste for a comeback season. Behind Joe BRRRRRR and Nick Chubbs quads I’m coming back for what’s rightfully mine and wanting to bring the trophy to a new home…
Garret Wilson: The reigning OROY has a BAAAAAAD man in New York with him and hes ready to cement himself as the next young stud in the league. With Rodgers throwing the ball I think Wilson has a legit chance to end up the WR1. And even if that unattainable I think his floor is still strong enough to keep him in the top 7 conversation.
Calvin Ridley: The parlay god is back in the NFL and you’re crazy if you think I’m not throwing him in my anytime TD parlay week 1 (+135 if you’re in a cool state). With that being said, he is a huge risk as a beginning of the 4th round pick for someone who hasn’t played non madden football in over a year. With the potential around the draft spot Calvin is the biggest question mark on my team.
J.K Dobbins: With Dobbins whining about a contract all offseason like hes done something it might just motivate him to stay healthy this season. The talent has never been denied for Dobbins its always been his availability. And if he can finally flip that around this year, he might make for one of the strongest RB 2s in the league.
4. Joe – Draft/Rank B+
Joe joe joe, UTAH JOE, can you return to the yoffs this year, can you get out of fantasy poverty? You had the draft to dominate it was all yours. You had a ok draft for what you had to work with. You have a weak WR room all around and your QB is definitely a giant question mark.
Your BREAKOUT PLAYER IS JORDAN ADDISON. He is going into a throw first offense and is an elite athlete. He has the change to be the Tee Higgins of the Vikings offense. His ADP of 10th round and he can finish easily as a WR 2. This could be the steal of the draft and you didnt even mean to draft him during your meme rounds.
YOUR BIGGEST BUST PLAYER IS CHRISTIAN WATSON. To have him as your wr 3 is rough for your draft. He is known for getting hurt and was hurt and college and same in the NFL. He is explosive when on the field, but he has to stay on it. He is essentially Will Fuller 2.0 in my opinion.
YOUR BIGGEST SLEEPER PLAYER IS CAM AKERS. Cam won alot of people their fantasy leagues last season as for the last 6 weeks of Football he was the RB3. He is the focal point of this offense coming into the year and has the same terrible offesnive line. He can finish as an RB1 possibly as most running backs who finish as RB1s come from shitty teams.
ANT –
Joe: Can I fault you for wanting Jahmyr Gibbs? No. Can I fault you for giving up the opportunity to take Bijan first and then Gibbs for Mark Andrews? 100%. If it wasn’t for the insane depth your team has I would say you drafted very poorly. Either way this season has gotta be better than next year, right?
Dak Prescott: While everyone is laughing at you for this pick I think this was very smart with the new rule adjustments. While Dak may not lead the league in TD’s he has a legit shot of leading the league is passing yards. If he can do that AND stay healthy, he can end up a top 4 QB in this league.
Mark Andrews: While I think Andrews is going to be solid this year theres just no way I see him living up to the potential of giving up the #1 draft pick on the year. He would have to have a Kelce like season which I just don’t think is in his realm of possibilities.
Christian Watson: While Rodgers might be gone Watson is going to demand targets from Jordan Love and he could turn that into solid production. I don’t think he can end up as a top 7 WR but a top 12 ceiling is more than you can ask for.
5. ROB – Draft/Rank B+
Robby Fadez. You always seem to be somewhere in the top and with your 3 keepers why wouldnt you be. I do not have to worry about Bryan calling me a dick rider anymore since you are not number 1 ranked. The BBC take their job seriously with no biased. However, for someone who trades no picks you do reach alot. OBJ and Quentin Johnson for instance. Your weakness by far is your starting flex spot and your entire bench outside of your te.
YOUR BREAKOUT PLAYER IS DALTON KINCAID. THE HEADBAND MAN. The Bills took him in the first round for a reason. His super low ADP and he can finish as a top 5 TE with his skill set in an OFFENSE that needs a #2 with Gabe Davis not living up to the hype.
YOUR BIGGEST BUST PLAYER IS Joe Mixon. He had some off season trouble, decline on the field and was almost cut if he didnt adjust his contract. This is probably his last season in Cincy and is already rumored not to be a 3 down back yet again even with Perine gone. I see him falling into the RB3 range this year which is not where you drafted him.
YOUR SLEEPER PLAYER THIS YEAR IS ALEXANDER MATTISON. Finally the guy in Minne and is a 3 down guy. Taking him as an RB3 in picks and he has a chance to finish as an RB1 if he can stay on the field this guy does it all behind a good offensive line as well. He can be a top 5 finish at best and Top 10 finish at worst.
ANT –
Rob: Rob might have the best top 4 we have seen in the sleeper era, but his team can only be summed up by one image. Its going to take alot of work to build his team as a contender but with the core 4 plus Lamar, his team is what it always is, a bunch of swaggy boom or bust players.
Alexander Mattison: Mattison finally has the backfield all to himself and he its time for his breakout. Mattison has what we all look for in a RB, a workhorse role, and if he can put a consistent season together he can become one of the best overall value picks in this draft.
Quentin Johnston: It was a toss up between Quentin and OBJ for this spot but I went with the higher draft pick. Because of his spot on the team Quentin just might not get enough volume to make him worth a 7th round pick. A huge boom or bust potential in this pick.
Tyler Higbee: Because of Kelce (pre knee) being on this roster Higbee might not get a lot of playing time for Rob, but the opportunity is there to move himself into the top 8 TE’s in the league. Between Cooper Kupps season in the air and Higbee being the only white man for Stafford to throw to Higbee has huge sleeper potential.
6. Ryan -Draft/Rank B
BROTHER RYAN! Man coming off a great season but falling short of greatness. You took over a shit team, trade for the best player in fantasy football last year and turned it around. You headed into this draft not missing alot of picks, but having pretty damn spaced out picks in the important rounds. You have the best starting trio of recievers by far. However, huge questions marks at the running back and TE position definitely your weakest.
YOUR BREAKOUT PLAYER IS JUSTIN HERBERT. Yea I said it your boy. Justin Herbert imo will finish as QB1 this year. With a New GOATED OC and a healthy team. Herby can be special this year and I mean real special.
YOUR BIGGEST BUST IS KENNETH WALKER. In the 5th round to be your RB1 is rough. This man can not catch a football and they draft Charbonett for a reason. Kenneth walker was drafted as a RB2 overall as ADP and will fall into RB3 RB4 Range.
YOUR BIGGEST SLEEPER IS JAYLEN WARREN. Why they keep saying Najee is the guy, Warren continues to look great. If the Steelers grow tired of Harris and Warren continues to gain reps, he can jump into a rb2 conversation and be worth the late round jab you used him on.
ANT –
Ryan: Ryan went the hard tank route last season and came an inch within taking the trophy to Colorado. Unfortunately, his injuries caught up to him and it just wasn’t enough to pull off the championship. Now he comes back with the strongest WR core in the league and the hope that Herbert can make his MVP run this year.
Chris Olave: There’s been alot of talk about Garret Wilson this year but Chris Olave has just as much potential to breakout this year. With Derrick Carr now in Nawlins and Olave coming off a strong rookie season I can see Olave taking the next step into becoming a WR1 as the WR3 on this team.
Rachaad White: As much opportunity as Rachaad has I just don’t think that he has the talent to be a true workhorse back in this league. Theres a real chance this team is bottom three in the league and that can mean taking away a lot of carries from Rachaad and forcing Baker to try and push the ball downfield. No Chuck, Sean Tucker is not going to be a thing.
George Pickens: As much as I don’t believe in Kenny Pickett I do believe that If Pickens is force fed that he will come up with the ball. Even more than that I believe that he’s going to get a lot of TD’s this season. If the Steelers end up with a WR1 by the end of the season I think his name is George Pickens.
7. Wings – Draft/Rank B
Commish, coming off your best season since you won the chip. Have daddy Allen and the emergence of Pollard definitely helped that last year. Your draft was okay for the most part. I do love the set of recievers you have. However weakest spot by far is all your running backs except for pollard.
YOUR BREAK OUT PLAYER IS JAHAN DOTSON. This guy is talented and now that Bienemy is there to bring that Chiefs magic in Washington he could be special. He has already shown flashes of greatness and can finish as a WR2/1 Category this year.
YOUR BIGGEST BUST IS CHRIS GODWIN. This man has an Injury history. Never played a full season now has Baker throwing the football on a team expected to be dealing at the trade deadline. He could fall out of WR2 territory and fall to wr4/5 and that is a big dip from where you drafted him.
YOUR BIGGEST SLEEPER IS DARREN WALLER. Coming off 2 shitty seasons of injuries going into an offense of Run and Gun which is beautiful for a TE especially with him being the #1 option at recieving. Waller has a Chance to enter Keeper Territory this year.
ANT –
Wings: The starting lineup of this team is very strong and solid all around but the bench leaves much to be desired. With the new rules this season Allen can truly carry this team a long way but this team is also two injuries away from looking real iffy. Commish its time for you to finally return to dominance.
Tony Pollard: Its finally time for a new RB in Dallas and Pollard is poised to become the next man up for this squad. Pollard may not possess the skill set of a guy like Saquon or CMC but he does have the potential to end up in the same range as these guys by the end of the year. The combination of rushing, receiving and touchdown potential in this offense makes Pollards ceiling as high as anyone in the league.
Drake London: While I am a fan of a USC boy like Drake London he just doesnt give me WR1 vibes. I do believe he can be a solid WR2 in the right offense but him as the main guy, with a subpar QB, and a very run heavy offense is a recipe for a 5th round pick to be a total disaster pick.
Rashee Rice:If Kelce is going to miss time at all this might happen sooner rather than later, if he doesnt there is still room for Rashee to grow into the top guy in one of the best offenses in the league. With Toney constantly being hurt and Moore having a weak 1st season Rice has the best chance to be the sleeper of this WR core.
8. Gio – Draft/Rank C
Mr Champ. Man you cut ties with your thugs and start a new after the win. Is this a new Gio approach or is he hitting a fantasy hangover this year? You did not have a lot of picks to work with. Eckler Adams and Hurts should keep you afloat for the time being. Your weakness by far is your bench/Flex.
YOUR BREAKOUT PLAYER IS BRANDON AIYUK. Aiyuk finished PPR 15 last year which is low WR 1 territory. Yet you have him in the 8th round. He has the ability to finish top 10 this year being the GUY at WR this year there. Deebo is there however his injury history and problems of drops is a problem still for him and the arrival of CMC has made it difficult for Deebo to be more than a Decoy. Aiyuk should have a major year.
YOUR BIGGEST BUST IS Travis Etienne. Etienne was your first pick of the draft in the 4th round and has trouble catching the football and fumbling the football. Them Drafting Tank as early as they did and Tank being a pass catching back will eat into his work load. Why Etienne is explosive he is more of the low RB2/RB3 category when the year is said and done.
YOUR BIGGEST SLEEPER IS DEANDRE HOPKINS. Its weird to have him here on this list, but he is the #1 receiver in this offense and will be relevant. He has a chance to finish as a WR2/Low WR1 category. After he came back from suspension he Averaged 10 targets a game. If he stays on the field, he still has the best hands in the League.
ANT –
Gio: Wow, the champ sure has fallen far from the top. The dynasty talk is still here but its going to take a huge lift from this team for Gio to make it back to the end. This is the most concern ive had in Gios starting team in a while and its going to require alot from his keepers to prove the doubters wrong for one more season.
Travis Etienne: It was very hard to pick a breakout player for this team because Gio has gone with the traditionally consistent route for his team. But the chance for Etienne to breakout is there with the Jags offense taking the next leap and Lawrence cementing himself as a top QB in this league. While Etienne has a chance to push himself into the RB1 convo…
Travis Etienne: … He also has the chance to be Gios downfall on the year. With Gio only having one non-keeper pick in the first 78 players off the board, he has to hit Etienne to have a chance to get back to a championship chance. Etienne sounds like hes already losing 3rd down work to Tank and he better hope he can stay on the field this year to make Gios’ gamble worth it.
Allen Lazard: While he might not be the number 1 guy in this offense he is a reliable target for Aaron Rodgers who might get those red zone touches that make him worth a 12th round pick. There’s not a lot of potential for Lazard to get to WR1 territory but theres potential for him to outperform his ADP.
9. Bryan – Draft/Rank D
Chi town Bryan. GREAT Rookie season I mean great. You came in made one of the most questionable trades seen in a long time by dealing Jefferson for Conner. However, you finished 2nd going into the playoffs to shut up the haters. You had no draft I mean no fucking draft haha. You decided to keep Kupp after a hamstring injury was announced prior to keepers after he was coming off an Injury season. You think Mahomes will carry you and shit he will help you but not 1 player can win you a game. Your WR room and all your RB’s outside of Jacobs is definitely your weakest. Alot of work to do.
YOUR BREAKOUT PLAYER IS KYLE PITTS. We have been saying this every season since Pitts came into the league but this will be the best offense he has played in and is in an offense that Tailors to him. Expect Pitts to finally show why he was drafted in the top 10.
YOUR BIGGEST BUST IS COOPER KUPP. This guys is always hurt. Now he has a hamstring Injury, with declining Stafford and no other reciever to help him get open. He is now missing game 1 and might go on the IR. Even if he does come back. Dont expect him to be much. He has fallen to flex territory.
YOUR BIGGEST SLEEPER IS RAHEEM MOSTERT. MOSTERT in an explosive offense and Jeff Wilson going down. Achane is their, but its Mosterts job to loose if he stays on the field. He can be RB2 and be an absolute steal for you.
ANT –
Bryan: The rookie saw himself in a tie for third place last year and gave up just about everything to get there. Now he goes into this season with a very very slim team behind Patrick Mahomes. While there is no doubt to me that Mahomes will single handedly win a few games for Bryan the rest of the weeks are going the be very rough.
Kyle Pitts: Here we go again with this bullshit. We all know the Kyle Pitts story. Extremely talented and ready to grow into his role as a top TE. It has just never been put together. As much as I dont believe he’ll do that this year I would not be surprised if Pitts ends up as a top 4 TE this year. #FreeKylePitts.
Cooper Kupp: With Kupp already headed to hamstring specialists for advice this is not looking like its going to end well. The risk that was taken on Kupp already knowing he had the injury might be the downfall of this team. Especially if Kupp doesnt come back until this team is out of the playoff race.
Javonte Williams: Javonte went into last year with a lot of hype along with the rest of the Denver Broncos and just like the Broncos his season was quickly derailed. Now one year removed from a torn ACL, Javonte looks likes he’s ready to go week 1 and get himself back into that conversation. With an improved offensive line and rough backups Williams isn’t a traditional sleeper but he has a chance to be one of the best.
10. Nauch – Draft/Rank F
Mr Fuck a draft in full effect now. Also now Mr. Day Spa welcome to the PATS FAMILY SHEESH. NO LONGER ALONE. However, alot of questionable decisions. Trading for a running back that was pissed off/ injured and terrible last year, resurging threating to leveon bell the thing in Saquon and CMC. We already see what Taylor is doing and might go down as one of the worst trades in history if he does not play this year. Saquon and CMC being their is great, but lets see if they stay healthy. You have the weakest team by far. Every thing is bad on your team except for Saquon, CMC and Kittle.
YOUR BREAKOUT PLAYER IS COURTLAND SUTTON. It will finally be his time. I think he takes the step finally in a Sean Payton ran team. He has shown flashes over the years and where his ADP is he can jump in WR2 territory and thats a huge jump from his ADP.
YOUR BIGGEST BUST PLAYER IS JONATHAN TAYLOR. I do not need to say much here. We already know why he will be a bust. AGAIN.
YOUR BIGGEST SLEEPER IS DARNELL MOONEY. He was the guy in the offense last year and why yes DJ Moore is their now. Mooney was essentially not being drafted at all which is a shocker in an offense that is supposed to take a huge step with Justin Fields.
ANT –
Nauch : I dont know if ive ever seen someone with as much draft pick capital as you had end up at the bottom of the rankings. But you truly live by the Fuck a draft motto. We will get to one of your RB’s in a little bit but this team truly has good RB depth and a lot of question marks everywhere else. Other than that one bright spot, it’s going to be rough if one of the top 2 guys doesn’t produce a good week.
Deshaun Watson: Anything other than being one of the worst QB’s in the league will be considered a breakout from Deshaun and I see much more than that. Deshaun has been a top QB in this league before and I think he has a chance to get back into the elite tier of QBs. Hopefully I dont massage his ego too much.
Jonathan Taylor: This has the chance to be the biggest bust since Le’veon a few years ago. While we’ve seen guys holdout on contracts before and still come back and play, this one feels a bit weird. He’s already set to miss the first 4 weeks and the team owner really didnt help with him wanting to play. The question is starting to get to the point of not when will he play but will he play at all.
Darnell Mooney: With the Bears expected to take that next step with Justin Fields, Mooney has to come along with them. DJ Moore is now the new #1 in Chicago but Mooney has the chance to use that to his advantage. Moore will draw a lot of attention leaving alot of potential targets for Mooney and giving him the chance to be much better than his 17th round draft spot.
