What a Week 1 boyz. I would just like to take the time to appreciate the GOAT. Seeing his speech his last weekend in Foxborough just put everything into perspective as he is entering the Patriots Hall of Fame as Kraft waives the 4 year waiting period. Now, back to business. This was one of the lower scoring weeks I have seen in Fantasy in quite sometime even with the QB buff and the only other scoring adjustments coming to the kickers, removal of defensive players and Defenses. This week was a fluke in overall scoring as I expect our average to be roughly around the 165 mark this year and seeing the points record broken as well as the most 200 point games the league has ever seen in a season. However, still doesnt explain the leagues performances. Lets get into these rankings shall we.
Chucks Power Rankings –
1. Chuck –
Are we really shocked here after this performance? Bijan looked great and Rhamondre showed even with Zeke their he will still get the ball alot. Tyreek doing Tyreek things. Tua said who cares. Picking back up where I left off and seeing Gainwell and Zay Flowers dominate touches this last weeken only makes it more sweet. Keep the momentum going as this season is dedicated to Tom.
2. Gio –
Welcome back to the Top 3. You still need a flex lets be real, but your team showed its potential this last weekend. Hurts looked like that Superbowl loss affected his confidence or the Pats D is really that good. Eckler might run over 1000 yards this year to prove a point and Etienne proving he can catch a football and not fumble really looks great for this one 2 punch. Adams still had 9 targets which is great and should see more from him later on, Hopkins looked like the Hopkins of old and Aiyuk breakout szn beginning. Find a solid flex or rotational flex and the Dynasty can continue.
3. Erik –
HOLY SHIT WE PRAISE YOU AND YOU DO THAT LMAOO. To be fair its out of your control. TE’s always get shut down by the Pats unless your Kelce. Lamb wouldve had a monster game if the Cowboys D didnt just disrespect the fuck out of the Giants. I would be a little concerned in regards to Henry and Pierce. Pierce only had 14 touches to Singletarys 7, but this was a close enough game for him to see alot more considering he is the most explosive player in this offense. Henry played lets snaps then Spears, but saw alot more touches, but it is still concerning as they look to keep Henry fresh at his age and Spears continued to look explosive on the touches he had something to monitor. Breece Hall looked explosive for the most part as he has 2 carries for 106 yards, but then proceeded to take 8 more carries for 21 yards. Now he is limited at practice because of the knee. Something to monitor but the risk might pay off. Montgomery in the Jamal williams roll is just nasty for you.
4. Joe –
What a week for you huh all those picks and drop 126 thats crazy. Dak is not your fault as the defense just poured it on. Aaron Jones looked great and Gibbs looked explosive, but Bijan outscored Gibbs, Andrews and Najee put together. Tee higgs will have better days as the Browns D looked disgusting and Keenan looks like he is fully healed. The nice story for you is Pittman looks great again. I do not count you out yet, but your running back situation is definitely something to monitor.
5. Ryan –
Way to sneak out a dub because Josh Allen is the 4th best QB in the AFC east. Positive Things, Looks like it is Walkers backfield to lose. The Saints are gonna throw the ball alot so even with Shaheed and Slant God looking good Olave still saw 12 targets. Rachaad White looked terrible on the insane amount of touches he saw. Khalil Herbert did not help your cause either. Your backfield is an entire mess tbh and trying to figure out a flex is well. It is to early, but if it continues to be this way. Might have to break up that trio to fill some spots.
6. Ant –
What a rough week. Joe Burrow showing some rust, JK dobbins tearing his entire leg again, starting 3 browns doesnt help either and the Major upside of Garret wilson gone with Rodgers being another victim to the Metlife turf. Garret Wilson will still be a low WR1 dont get me wrong, but with the explosive backfield the Jets have their will be some weeks he is hard to trust. I think you will be fine for the most part, but I do think you need to find a switch up as starting 3 browns are not gonna help your chances.
7. Roberto –
ROB FADEZ, Lamar Jackson looked like shit in this new offense. Joe Mixon looked like shit. Mattison looked like shit. The difference is Mixon and Mattison played great defenses, so patience with them but LAMAR? I would be worried after that performance. Chase will have better days and Diggs looked solid af. Pulling out a win without Kelce is huge and the Jakobi Meyers start was great. You still need to figure out the flex and your bench.
8. Nauch –
Great win, CMC looked like well still the best RB in the league. Massage Watson played a hell of a game and Slant God looked great. Mooney might be a solid fine and Barkley will have better days. Kittle is concerning as he was only looked at a short throws. Doubs might be a solid fine but TUTU can only go so far until Kupp comes back. Cook might be a great flex with Rodgers going down and can co exist with Breece. Still think their is alot of work to do with this team as I think your recievers showed their max upside which is not great. Prove us wrong, until we see more you stay here.
9. Wings –
MR. WINGS, I would be ashamed. Josh allen looked terrible and looked like OC didnt want him running the football either. Pollard looked explosive, Pacheco in a committe with CEH is fucking wild lmao. DRAAKKEEE had 1 target. I would be worried. AMONRA is him, Allgeier looks like a two headed monster with Bijan. Definitely gotta figure out your WR situation for sure. You live here till we see more from your team cause that was a poor fucking performance.
10 Bryan –
This is concerning, Mahomes was just a bad break for you as his recievers outside of Kelce are just awful apparently. Mosters didnt really do much with his touches and Jacobs showed some rust. Your recievers combined for just 12 targets which is never a great sign. Javonte looked solid for someone who came back from an injury like his. You still have Austin watkins on your bench who is not on an active NFL roster but on a practice squad. Its okay buddy you can drop him. Your two te’s on your bench had as many targets as your recievers. If im you this might be a tank year or you should go trade for some players cause this is looking real bleak for you as their is no clear cut talent on this roster outside of Mahomes and Jacobs.
Ant’s Power Rankings –
1. Chuck –
Fresh off a runner up finish last year Chuck came out of the gates hot to start the year and led the league in points scored. Tyreek is going to be a problem and if Tua can stay healthy that combo might be the top duo in the league.
2. Erik –
Despite the loss Erik still has the most solid all around team to back it up. It might not have the flashiest names but I think this team will get the job done. The biggest problem is Justin Fields may get outpaced by other QBs if he can’t complete passes consistently.
3. Ryan –
There are two things you can look at Ryan’s team from last week. You can look at it pessimistically and say he got lucky playing the lowest scoring team. Or you can look at it saying his WR trio didn’t completely get unlocked last week. Either way, a win is a win and Ryan is off to a great start to the year.
4. Gio –
Surprise surprise, the dynasty continues to chug along. Put on the back on Brandon Aiyuk and carried the victory Gio took his previous Power Ranking personally. The old vets of the team are now dealing with a few injuries but at the moment Gio has taken back his spot in the top 5
5. Rob –
Rob came away with the win last week with Jamaar Chase throwing up at complete dud and Travis Kelce not playing. I would count that as a huge W. It was also nice seeing Diggs get his with how shitty Josh Allen was.There’s still a lot that needs to be tweaked with this team but for now the Rob train keeps chugging along.
6. Ant –
What a shitshow of a week. Dobbins Achilles, Rodgers Achilles, Burrow sucks. That was the story of me watching my team day from a comfy Bellagio Sportsbook recliner on Sunday. I’m more worried about the injuries than I am of my overall teams performance.
7. Nauch –
The lowest seeded week 1 winner Is here because of his lopsided team. CMC and Watson were the lone bright spots as the rest of the roster was outscored by his kicker. Eventually when someone coughs up wide receivers for one of his RBs there might be top 5 discussion. But until then, bottom half of the rankings for you buddy.
8. Joe –
The tank a thon begins with a fat L from the Utah boy. Between the Tee Higgins no show, Mark Andrews injury, and Jahmyr Gibbs slow start Joes early drafters do not look like the team he expected. The fortunate thing for you is it’s only week 1 and there’s still plenty of time for your team to get back on track.
9. Wings –
There was a lot of excitement in the air thinking that Josh Allen could do Josh Allen things and get you the late W going into Monday. Then he proceeded to throw the ball very well to Tahir Whitehead who ended up with 3 picks. This team is going to have rough days ahead, but there will also be days where Allen will get the job done for the Bills and for the commish
10. Bryan –
The 138 points put up by Bryan in Week 1 did not tell the whole story of his team. Getting literally more than half of his points from his QB and defense is not going to get the job done. And it’s definitely not going to get it done with two empty bench spots just sitting on his team.
