Pre Week 1 Power Rankings

Ladies and gentleman we are less that 24 hours away from a meaningful game of football being played and that right there makes me hard as diamonds. It’s been more than a month since we drafted and there has already been a season’s worth of transactions

Tier 1-

1. Gio 👑👑 (-)

Gio saw my warnings about “the bigger they are” from last power rankings and managed to double down and get stronger at his weakest position by adding Dalvin Cook for peanuts. His week 1 matchup with Alex screams “trap game,” but for now, it’s hard to argue that he isn’t the team to beat.

2. Erik (-)

I still don’t get why Erik traded just to trade, a 4th is a steep price to pay for T, but looking to this season, it does give him a great foursome of wideouts to supplement Kelce and mask his scant RB depth. His week 1 matchup vs Roberto looks deceivingly easy.

3. Nauch (+1)

Every day for the last month, I have been watching Saquon and Chubb across from my team, patiently waiting to ravage my Zeke-less anus. While our match is now a toss-up with Zeke back, this duo will still be handling the league like Kawhi and PG13 in the NBA next month.

4. Wings 💍 (+3)

My alarm rang promptly at 6am this morning and, right before my morning fap session, I checked my notifications and blew my load immediately, thanks for ruining my me-time, Zeke. I’m stoked that all the sports media tweets are over aside from that Zeke parody account. Zeke and DJJ put me back with the big boys.

Tier 2 –

5. Ant (+1)

Ant’s elite group of pass catchers rival Gio’s in power, but is also holding to a lot of lottery tickets at the Running Back position. One of them’s gotta hit, but for now I’m anticipating nail biters of matchups to start the season, starting with Chuckles.

6. Joe (-1)

Joe is STILL a cool dude with a cool team, but I also think that a couple other teams improved enough to leapfrog him. While it would have been nice to flex Tony Pollard week 1 instead of Marlon Mack, his starting RBs can do plenty of damage themselves. His WRs look like they’ll be making or breaking his matchups this season.

7. Chuck (-4)

Chuck’s trade antics deserve their own dedicated posts. While the team isn’t bad on paper, the amount of roster tinkering has been insane. The RB core are great, but he still lacks a pass-catching superstar and zero depth aside from Carlos Hyde. Putting him at 7 is a great catharsis for me, considering his black magic will probably result in a week 1 win.

8. Roberto (-)

I really like Roberto’s team- it is way better than it is given credit for. That being said, it is very much a “prove it” team before Roberto can keep climbing up the ladder. I only imagine what it could’ve been without a Patrick Mahomes pick. Also, lol at having a DB in your IR.

9. Hurtado (-)

Shady McCoy doesn’t got to be on your team to screw you over. The Damien Williams hype train crashed hard and leaves Hurtado biding time until his IR studs come back to life.

Tier 3 – –

10. Alex (-)

Losing Lamar Miller was definitely not the best thing that could have happened to this team as it continues to rebuild from the ground up. Right now, his WRs are looking like spicy trade assets.
