Gentleman, the regular season is officially over. We have now reached the playoffs. First year of divisions and it was a major success. The divisions kept it competitive and it made a huge difference this year in record and down the stretch for a playoff run for multiple teams. DO YOUR PICKEMS!
Danny has officially finished his rookie year. He finished the year at 8 – 6 and had a really strong showing in year 1. He made a lot of questionable trades that dubbed him the name “Radio” early on, but he showed his ball knowledge with amazing waiver starts through out the year and showed he is here to compete. Next year will be the restart of the keeper era and remember it is only 2 keepers. Draft pick trading does come back into play, but the breakdown of all of that changing will come in the off season as Chuck and Commissioner wings have been hard at work getting it down to perfection.
Ryan, Nauch, and Rob I do hope you guys had a lot of fun this year and even though you did not make playoffs each of these teams is set up with keepers for the future and a fresh start next season. At least you guys have actual football teams that have winning records and playoff hopes in real life which is a positive.
Lets get to these playoff matchups!
Chuck will be waiting to see if he will be facing off against Chef Bryan or Prime Time Orange. These are two teams who were once at the top and looked to be going on dominating runs to be the 1 and 2 seeds. Unfortunately now they have to play each other in the first round. This is a really close matchup in projections as Chef Bryan is projected to win 166.93 to 165.44 over Prime Time Orange.
Chef Bryan has an average of 151.76 fantasy points per game scored with a 87.7% sit and start rate.
Prime Time Orange has an average of 173.89 fantasy points per game scored with a 91.5% sit and start rate.
This matchup is honestly going to come down to three players from each team.
For Chef Bryan, they are Jalen Hurts, Zay Flowers and Josh Jacobs. Jalen Hurts is coming off arguably the worst game of his career and the Eagles in a must win situation against a Raiders team that will now turn to Kenny Pickett this week. Jalen needs to have a big day in scoring touchdowns because I think this will be a blow out, but a big part of the eagles D showing up that day. Zay Flowers is up against a horrific Bengals D that shut him down a couple weeks ago. In a must win game for the Ravens its time to see if he truly is the WR1 that they hope for him to be down the line for Lamar. Josh Jacobs has been battling an injury and now he gets a tough Broncos D in what is a must win game for the Packers to continue to hold on to the #1 seed in their division. These 3 players will make or break this team this weekend and be the difference maker on if Bryan advances or goes home.
For Prime Time Orange, they are Jonathan Taylor, George Pickens and Terry McLaurin. Jonathan Taylor is on his worst stretch of the season at the wrong time. He has only scored 1 TD in the last 3 weeks, has not topped 100 yards and now gets to face a really good Seattle D with OLD MAN RIVERS as his QB. This can be a good bounce back for Taylor but more as a receiver as a big week from Taylor is much needed for Erik. George Pickens has been great all season, but he finally showed the reason why the Steelers gave up on him like they did when he just stop caring when he could not get open and proceeded to just stop caring and trying. This Minnesota D is no joke, while Dak has been hot, Pickens deep ball is going to be tough to get this weekend. Need him to show out like he has been with these 1 handed catches. Terry McLaurin has not really played football this year and he now plays the Giants with Mariota as his QB. Terry could not do anything against the Giants week 1 but with Ertz hurt and both teams have nothing left to play for, this could be a fun shootout and a big bounce back game for Terry and a reason to give Erik why he held on to him all season.
This matchup is going to be a nail biter that will come down to Sunday football when the Vikings take on the Cowboys. I do think this will be a matchup that will finish with a victory being less than 10 points away and I am going to take Bryan here as he has not lost more than 2 games in a row all season and already coming off back to back L’s I expect him to pick up the W against Erik this week and advance to the semis.
Gio will be waiting to see if he will be facing off against Lesbian Wings or Punjabi Pirate. These two teams have literally battled back from the trenches to make playoffs. Both were in shambles after week 10 and found a way to get in and do it in dominant fashion. This Matchup is close while these 2 are waiting on injury news, I am going to predict that Wings puts in the Panthers D against the saints and Ceedee Lamb playing this week for Ant. Ant is projected to win 163.95 to 163.51 against Wings. This honestly makes a lot of sense tbh and while Ant just wants to have fun, these projections alone puts wings in crash out territory.
Lesbian Wings has an average if 149.71 fantasy points per game scored with a 85.6% sit and start rate.
Punjabi Pirate has an average of 150.37 fantasy points per game scored with a 84.7% sit and start rate.
This matchup is going to come down to the god damn wire, Wings has won 4 in a row and 7 of his last 8. Ant has won 5 in a row and in dominating fashion. This matchup is going to come down to the Qbs.
Wings team is not well balanced but is carried by his Big 3 of PBR. Josh Allen is his Qb and Josh has averaged 41.23 fantasy points per game this season. He had a good game last time against the Pats, but took a L. This is a must win game for Josh and the Bills as if they lose the Patriots will win the Division. I expect full big dick Allen to come out in what I expect to be a crazy shootout Sunday Morning.
Ants team is fully healthy well kind of we waiting to see on ceedee, but this team healthy has shown how dominant it can be. Dak Prescott has been a big part of why this team got here. Dak averaging 40.42 points per game this season has been on fire as of late scoring 42 or more in every matchup since coming off of their bye week. He gets a Minnesota D that is finally healthy. This is a must win for the Cowboys as they have a real shot at winning their division this year and to keep the NFC East curse going of no team repeats as division winner over the last 20 years. The Cowboys D has not been great all year but NINE is awful, but did just destroy a commanders team. Dak going crazy will come down to how well JJ plays.
This matchup has potential to be a nuclear scoring matchup. However, I am going to call it now. This matchup will be decided by 2 points or less. While I do want to see Ant continue his dominant come back to play Gio, I have to go with the lesbian here. Josh Allen is probably going to go nuts and I can see the Cowboys just running all over Minnesota. Gio will then take on his favorite MILF fantasy player in the semis.
Good Luck this week Gentleman, Gio, Myself and all the losers will be watching!
