GENTLEMAN WELCOME TO HOLIDAY PICKEMS WITH CHUCK! In the holiday spirit this is very simple and to keep you all engaged competing. Not every one can make playoffs but that does not mean you can’t win something. This is something I wanted to do at the beginning of the season, but with the introduction of the Commissioners cup this year I figured I would wait to do so.
This is going to be very simple and Very easy. It will be a points based system. Points are listed next to each pick and will be the same point value every week. Here are the pickem descriptions.
Choose the team to win (50 Points) – This is what Wings, Ant and I were doing at through out the season. Choose what team you think is gonna win in our fantasy matchups plain and simple.
Chose the line of the player (100 points) – Very simple here is an explanation.
Ex. Will Christian McCaffrey score over or under 0.5 rushing touchdowns?
You would then select over or under in the multiple choice google form. I am choosing players off of each team so there will be 10 different ones to vote on. No player will be the same every week as I will choose a different player each week from everyone’s team.
BONUS (150 points) It will be a combination of both of the above. Both have to hit to earn the bonus and it will be a match of the player and the fantasy team they are on and they both have to hit for the bonus to apply.
So for instance if you Choose CMC over 0.5 rushing touchdowns and you chose Nauch to win then you would win the 150 bonus points. However if you chose CMC to hit and took Nauch to lose then you would not win the bonus points. If you take Nauch to win and CMC to go under 0.5 rushing touchdowns then you would win the bonus points.
The Fantasy team has to win and the prop you chose has to hit the under or over (your choice) for you to win bonus points.
There will be 3 prizes for this. There will be 5 weeks total for this. Weeks 13-17. I am asking for a dollar each week for this to help with part of prizing. It would be 5 dollars total from each one of you.(see more below for what that money is being used for)
The 1 dollar each week from you (10 dollars total for the league each week) I will take the Top 6 voted on picks that have the highest percentage of votes and put them in a parlay on prize picks and put that 10 dollars on it. Any money won from that will be put into the pot and split between the top 3. If there is a tie on percentages or anything there will be 2 different 6 man parlays with 5 dollars on each one. The max won each week will be $250. The LOD PrizePicks Picks will be posted in our group chat and on LOD website as soon as I place the bet on prize picks. The picks will go in every Thursday and need you guys to vote on time. (If we win no money then I will personally refund the top 3 there 5 dollars each.
Here are the prizes that you can win from this
1st place 60% of the winnings from prize picks (or 5 dollars back) and 2 tickets to Disneyland for free on a day that I would be able to get yall in(should be pretty easy to chose a day obviously no major holidays)
2nd Place 25% of the winnings from Prize Picks(or 5 dollars back) and a gift (the gifts are already chosen for whoever gets 2nd place for each one of you)
3rd Place 15% of the winnings from Prize picks (or 5 dollars back) and a 20 dollar Starbucks gift card.
