Season NEIN Champion
Gentleman, it is the official start of the LOD Season. We draft on August 16th, 2025 with an expected arrival of every LOD member in Las Vegas on the day of August 15th, 2025. The end of the first ever LOD Draft Weekend will end on August 17th, 2025. There is not a better way to start the 10 year anniversary of LOD then this. Plus it got a little bit sweeter!
This year we say goodbye to Joe as he will be the 4th fallen member of leaving the prestigious LOD league. However, we welcome the one and only Danny ” Soundcloud god ” Alas. Soundcloud already being an LOD legend in some form of this league for his known diss track he dropped on yours truly and being known to kick it with us on some football Sundays ( RIP the old couch from the old crib) IFYKY, and other events as well. One thing I can tell you guys about Soundcloud is when he wants to do something he sticks with it and will do anything he can to be the best at it. Sound cloud got 2 phones, one for the fiancé and one for LOD. He did not want to leave us with no green bubbles.
Now for the big news. This year we are leaving discord. Discord unfortunately did not work out as half the league did not want to commit to this, especially Erik who never downloaded the app cause he is old af. So with that being said, we will be returning to LOD website. The website will be ready draft weekend.
Now this is our first year without us having keepers in god knows how long. So you will be getting our first LOD COMBINE experience! Sponsored by LODSPN and Chucks Pickems(more info below).
The LOD combine experience is something I had full reigns to do. Now I will say this, I am not dropping the full design of how it is going to go because I need to see the Air BNB in person first but this is what it will consist of for those looking to get the extra edge in getting the edge.
You will need to practice, throwing a football with accuracy and distance./ as well as corn hole throwing
Shooting a basketball / Chugging a beer(non alcoholic beer for Bryan)
Sprinting and stamina and learning to control your balance while dazed.
The placement you get in the LOD combine draft experience matters. It will not be if you come in first you choose first because mfs gonna start tanking (ANT). In order of placement you will get to choose your draft position, so if you want to draft in any specific position you will be given the opportunity to choose where you want to draft. There also will be a special twist if you do not want to choose your draft position which will be announce after the combine has finished and we have the results.
Alright yall chucks pickems is returning but in a different way. We will be doing everything through sleeper and there is a guarantee pay out and win. It will take place through all 18 weeks of the season and will be 18 dollars per person for this. There will be 3 payouts 3rd place will get $25. 2nd place will get $55. First place will get $100. We will not be picking player props as you will be picking teams and done on your own with no voting. I will explain how it works draft weekend the layout but it will be fun.
Gentleman, I am excited for this season and ready to celebrate 10 years of LOD with the best fantasy football has to offer. Lets get it yall
