Degenerates, what is up! Its your blogger boy Chuck here with my PIC Punjabi Prince and we are here to bring you some power rankings and a little bit talk about week 1 of each team from our point of view. We had a wild week 1 finishes along the way of matches for record and for the Commissioners cup as well. Week 1 had alot more going on as we had our boy robs retirement bach over the weekend as well as our commish fighting off the sickness. We are all alive and well at the end of week 1 which is what matters. Lets get to it yall.
Chucks Power Rankings:
1. Chuck – This was definitely an easy decision. You beat the shit out of gio which is always a plus. Starting lineup has been sexy from the beginning and so has the bench with some question, but all those questions were answered. David Montgomery still him. JK dobbins is Rb1 and dominated. Jaleel Mclaughlin Rb1 for the broncos so far. Big things to have, receiving core dominated outside of dell, but damn is this team deep. Is it finally the return of Chuck?
2. Wings – What a hell of a week by wings, putting up the second most points behind Chuck and dropping a 200 bomb. Josh Allen showed he is the offense lol, Rhamondre dominated, Aj brown was the true brown boy to keep and WE ARE NOT WORTHY has patty mahomes. You have a few questions after week 1 with London as expected, but Tony Pollard look like the Pollard that was supposed to dominate in Dallas, Tyler lockett is still Mr consistent and WANDALE WITH 12 TARGETS LOL. Jamo looks like he can be challenging sun god a little more for looks now that he is healthy. Lots to build on with this probably being 3 seasons in a row with more than half the same roster now.
3. Ant – Sucks you had to play wings so you start off 0-1 but your team showed why it was talked highly about as well. Anthony Richardson showed why he is a top talent, as long as he is healthy, this might me damn Cam Newton 2.0. The bad man arthur smith is no longer there and Bijan had alot of work and Allegier was non existent. If the Falcons offense can figure it out thats scary to see for 23 touches in a terrible looking offense. Kamara jones conner and moss all looked great as well to round out your RB but the big topic here is COOPER FUCKING KUPP. We were both big on him going into the draft and despite Puka having a breakout rookie year, there was no way Kupp was not gonna be the 1 lol. If kupp is healthy he might be the best receiver in the league despite age. It showed, even before puka got hurt Kupp was dominating touches by far, might be the steal of the draft cause if Kupp stays healthy he might finish as the WR1 this year.
4. Ryan – Brother Ryan, top 5 to begin the year look at you. Joe mixon looked fantastic and your receiving core looked great outside of Olave. The Olave thing is frightning in a game of 47-10 and only had 2 catches for 11 yards on 2 targets why everyone else thrived. Your receiving core along with Mixon staying consistent and the midget possibly looking great, this is a team that is a few players away from being scary, but your bench does need work.
5. Erik – Bruh you lost lmaoo, but sheer talent alone on your team is why you are here. You love to fuck up some how and start DAK over Stroud !?!?!? Too Many tequila shots? Like bruh haha, anyways Breece hall dominated touches and Henry dominated redzone touches. Mike Evans looked like hes gonna go crazy and Lamb is gonna be lamb. After week 1 there is alot of questions marks about this team though do to nobody really showing up. It is week 1, is it time to over react, tbh no, but I would pay close attention cause 0-1 with this team is kinda interesting.
6. Joe – Starting 1-0 is massive even if you did sneak by. Team looks solid, Kyren Taylor NICO and Zay had alot of touches and did well with them. Your rookie receivers each scored and looked solid. Your bench is alot of hit or miss and Luckily you got Stafford on the bench to replace Love for a few weeks. I think you are gonna be alright, but definitely a close one. Still though, some extra running backs will be needed for you to be considered a contender.
7. Rob Fadez – Brother Rob I hope liquid IVs and BUM ENERGY is all you been drinking this week to recover. However, fantasy wise looking rough. Yes, you got the dub but Joe burrow looked terrible, you probably will not have CMC for most of the year. Keenan Allen is also already hurt, but Saquon and Tyreek went crazy and ISIAH LIKELY. There is some holes on this team that can be filled. The talent can carry you especially if CMC does play, a few waivers on maybe even trading one of the big guns can help this team as this team is not far off from being super scary. WHERE YOU AT SCARDY CAT
8. Gio – Mr mijo, welcome to the girlfriend curse. Most of the time when one gets into a serious relationship with someone you tend to see there fantasy performance drop. Well Gio this might be it for you. Lamar looked great but that was it. White dominated touches a workhorse, but Adams, Kirk, Kelce White all looked like shit. Godwin resurgence tho is nice. Jordan Mason and Brandin Cooks being bright spots on your bench. I do not think this team is terrible enough to just give up, but I do think its time to start reacting a little bit and figuring out a game plan sadly after week 1, cause instantly Mason the big one will be a non factor upon a CMC return or Godwin sticking to the injury bug he is known for. Better figure it out Mijo.
9. Nauch – Frauchaveli, what a rough banner night. pacheco looked solid to start the week for you then it fell a little down hill. Goff underperformed along with the 49ers on your squad despite CMC being out. Brian Robinson looks like he is gonna dominate the Washington backfield in a run first offense which is nice. Diggs and Cook looked insane as well. Marvin Harrison tho 1 catch for 4 yards on 3 targets is the biggest concern and has had chemistry problems and not been performing well at practice as reported. Very concerning for your first pick. This team has a ton of potential and you can no longer say fuck a draft lol.
10. Bryan – You almost got 1 buddy. This team had one bright spot and performed as expected. The one bright spot being Jayden Reed but now its gone with Jordan Love injured and out. Now Puka Nacua is out and wasnt even the focal point when he was in the game. This team is really really bad. Ummm I hope you win at least 2 games this year so you dont get the record of lowest wins in a season that is currently held by Ant and Joe I believe with 2. Goodluck but it might be better to look towards next season.
Ants power Rankings:
- 1. Chuck: Chuck started off the year with a BANG putting up the most points of the week and shoving it down Gios throat. Not only did Chucks starting lineup go off but the bench is looking solid with David Montgomery and JK dobbins waiting for their shot. My concerns for Tank dell involvement, Kyle Pitts QB play, and Achane’s health still linger but after week 1 it was more than enough to get the first spot on the board
- 2. Wings: Putting up the 2nd most points on the week and locking down a much needed win against me, Wings seems to have built a solid team. Rhamondre Stevenson, Xavier Worthy, and Jameson Williams have all looked like solid values so far in the year. And if Drake London and Sam Laporta can start putting up numbers he will be stacked all around. The bench has some pieces to be figured out, but for now its more than enough.
- 3. Ant: I cant be upset with my teams performance last week, sometimes thats just how fantasy goes. Garret Wilson and Amon ra had terrible games for their standards and my biggest concern is Mark Andrews being washed. Other than that, im extremely excited on how Ant Richardson looked in his first week back and Cooper Kupp regaining his record year form.
- 4. Ryan: Ryans team did exactly what it needed to do to secure a W. His WR’s started their campaign of proving me wrong by Jettas hitting his projected points and Chase doing more than enough coming off no offseason. The surprise of this team was Joe Mixon looking like prime Derrick Herny in the Texans offense. Things will need to be figured out as far as the bench goes and Olaves rest of season performances, but he should come out of week 1 feeling great about his team. Also, Jake Moody almost did the funniest thing ever.
- 5. Joe: Joe was able to walk away with a W to start the season but it came at the cost of Jordan Loves knee. Luckily Stafford will be more than capable to hold his own for the time he’s out. This team has a great chance to continue winning games and probably has a down week for its standards. Fill out that bench and we can see a solid team in the future.
- 6. Erik: Week 1 was a huge disappointment for Erik which was mostly brought on by his decision making of Dak over CJ stroud. Either way it would’ve been an L. Ceedee and Breece wont be this average every week so im not overly nervous for him. I don’t expect this team to perform this poorly consistently, but it’s enough to cause some concern.
- 7. Rob: Rob was able to pull off a victory backed by Tyreek Hill and Saquon doing their thing. If it wasn’t for those two and a late spot start after CMC was ruled out, this week could’ve been a major disappointment. With CMC looking uncertain still, Rob might have to survive one more week and has to be thinking of Joe Burrow is the qb of the future for this team.
- 8. Gio: Gios team did all the things that I was worried about for him. Adam’s and Zamor White are stuck in a terrible offense, Kelce does not look like dominant Trav of years past, and Lamar can only do so much to keep this team afloat. Having Jordan Mason for the time being is helpful but how long will it last. Decisions need to be made here and it looks like it’s gonna be soon.
- 9. Nauch: The defending champ came out of this week with the lowest score in week 1 and I don’t see a way it dramatically improves without making moves. Guys will step up more and Tua should be the guy going forward for nauch but if week 2 doesn’t bring a win home it’s time to start figuring out backup plans.
- 10. Bryan: Bryan actually almost took home a W this week but by far took the biggest L by losing Puka for minimum 4 weeks. There’s a lot of questions going forward especially if Jayden reed isn’t scoring a quarter of his teams points. We will see how this looks going forward but right now it’s looking sketchy at best.
